Public Art is like Air!
…it’s an Asset,
an Indicator,
and a Resource…
How can we use it to understand the health of our cities?
Covid changed us all forever. With the unfortunate loss of George Floyd, the quarantine, and riots - our team of urban planners, designers, and geographers asked the question:
“How does the built environment influence our collective behavior?” Public art is a language that speaks to us. We were curious what it was saying.
Our Public Art Census sets out to answer that question.
We’ve created a method of standardization to analyze impacts across various geographies.
